Accelerated Marketing Partners Auctions Nearly $10 Million Of Real Estate In Florida In Less Than 90 Minutes 

Orlando, FL (March 21, 2008) - Accelerated Marketing Partners (AMP) successfully auctioned nearly $10 million of real estate in 90 minutes during central Florida’s first high-rise residential real estate auction March 1. The auction marketing event sold 30 one- and two-bedroom luxury homes at Solaire at the Plaza, Wood Partners' downtown Orlando residential development. Wood Partners and Accelerated Marketing Partners subsequently collaborated on the disposition strategy for the relaunch of the conventional marketing campaign, which will focus on Solaire’s remaining units.

Solaire at the Plaza's accelerated marketing program attracted more than 1,000 site tours in less than four weeks prior to the auction. The 30 residences throughout the 306-unit development were auctioned at 1:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown, located at 191 East Pine Street, Orlando, Fla., 32801. Accelerated Marketing Partners conducted a practice session prior to the auction, and potential buyers learned how to bid and were taught the relationship between the auctioneer and the prospective buyer. All prospective bidders were required to register at the auction information center, which opened Feb. 7, and to inspect homes and present deposits before bidding at the auction.
